Verulamium Park and its future
A plan to improve the park and many of its best known features is now being developed. You can be part of the park’s bright new future for the 21st century by taking part in one of the opportunities to contribute your ideas.
The Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund have awarded almost £50,000 through the joint Parks for People scheme to fund the planning work. Once complete, it will pave the way for a major bid for new works next year. A partnership, led by St Albans City and District Council is managing the project. A steering group involving representatives has been set up.
